New Year’s Day usually means a time when you sit down and pen out all that you want to accomplish (resolutions), but I won’t participating in that game this year.
I know it’s pointless to make a resolution because within two weeks – I’ll break the promise to myself, whatever it might be. Instead, this year I am focusing on what I want to accomplish during the next 365 days.
What does the New Year have in store for you? Here is what I want to do this year:
Increase My Reach to Help More Individuals
My life is not fulfilling unless I am helping you. I feel “special” when I know I am helping others get what they want. This gives me purpose.
I also realize there is much to learn about Internet marketing – especially if this is your first year in starting an online business. While many of the marketing aspects resemble offline methods, there are additional avenues to pursue online.
This journey requires an education in online marketing, and plenty of it. Where do I start? In the past, I took questions and answered them as they came, but I realize this will not work for most people. I must create a system for newcomers to follow.
I want to expand my horizons and start publishing for the Kindle; I signed up for a 30 Day Kindle Boot Camp Challenge. Supposedly, by the end of January, I will have my first Kindle book ready for sale on Amazon.
If you have never written a book before, I can assure you that it’s not as easy as some say. Granted, there are individuals who can type out 5000 words without breaking a sweat, but not this girl. I need to ponder my thoughts before they make their way onto a page.
I realize writing a Kindle book is not as hard as writing a 300-page novel, but even at 400 words per page, a Kindle book will take 20-30 days to complete if I write one page daily. I could do more, but I also need to tend to my online business tasks too.
This business model is already earning an income, but I want to ramp it up in 2014. This will be my main money producer, so a change is in order for my PLR writing.
More people are looking to market their businesses with imagery and I intend to offer more of it. Designing graphics is a slower paced project than my writing so it will take time to get additional packages up for sale.
I’m also contemplating a service for people who don’t care to create their own quote images, but still want to take advantage of what image marketing offers to their businesses. This is still in the planning phase, so I am unable to offer more information right now.
You need guidance, and I want to offer the accountability and support you need as an entrepreneur. This requires some handholding and tutorials to help you build, manage, and grow your online business.
I also realize that I need your input for this area of my help to do justice. How can I help you? What fears can I help you overcome? What can we do together that will give you the confidence you need to succeed?
Do you want to publish on the Kindle? Would you like to create a product? Are you looking to learn how to write articles and piece them together into a special report?
This is where I need you to open up and share with me. Do it privately if you must, but do it!
It’s no secret that I am obese. This circumstance needs to change. I will not be doing anyone any good unless I am breathing! At the rate I put on weight, it’s becoming detrimental to my health.
Tiffany started a new blog – ClaimingMyPower.com, and I will be following her journey with one of my own. I do not want to create a website for the sake of spilling my guts, but I do plan to be mindful.
I want to wear a bathing suit this summer without feeling like a beached whale or wanting to hurl my dinner because I looked in the mirror. Like Tiffany, I want to get over the feeling of being uncomfortable in my body.
These are my goals for the next 365 days. What are yours? Leave a comment below and let me know!
Thanks for reading,
