Video Sunday – Episode #7 from Bonnie Gean
Weekly Cold Did Me In
Today was busy, unlike the rest of the week. Monday I got the sniffles, Tuesday I was getting really stuffy in the sinus area, and by Wednesday I was sounding like Darth Vader. LOL
But, I am thankful the cold is finally starting to go away and I can concentrate on work once more.
Thursday, I got to talk to Craig Desorcy and spend some time with him on the phone! He’s very nice and I liked him right away. I also like the fact that he thinks I have a little honey badger in me, like Tiffany. 🙂 I liked hearing that part!
He peeked at my website before our call and I was glad for the compliments he shared, which again made me feel really good. More importantly, I walked away from our conversation knowing exactly what it is that’s holding me back.
So, now that I have this information at the forefront, I can dote the necessary time on getting things done for my signature product. Craig seems to think I’m a product creator so I’m going to run with that idea. 🙂
I want to do the video tutorials, this week, for how to make an InfoGraphic with Microsoft PowerPoint. Due to my cold and sounding like Darth Vader, I didn’t think it was a very good idea for me to sit in front of the camera.
This week, I’m going to get the templates to you. I did make several of them. I made 3 sets of the 4-slide templates – 1 is for Valentine’s Day, 1 is for Saint Patrick’s Day, a general themed one (biography), and a 2-slide template.
I want to show you how you can split 1 slide into 2-parts so it looks like it has 4 parts when in actuality it only has 2. I will have all 4 zipped up and ready to go.
Like I said, I wanted to get the tutorials done on video, but there was no way I was going to sit in front of a video with a red nose sounding all stuffy. Early this week, I am going to finish those tutorials and get everything in your hands.
I also wanted to do some other templates for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Easter for you but it takes a lot of thinking power and that’s one thing I didn’t have this week with the cold coming on like it did.
It made it very hard to concentrate and get the writing done, let alone write a tutorial that made any sense to you. So, I will make sure this is my #1 priority to get done for Monday and Tuesday – this is what I am going to work on for you.
I can’t wait until you get your hands on those templates! I want to see what you think and come up with and I want you to share it on the blog! If you post the InfoGraphic on your blog, you can always share the link here in the comment section.
I will be writing up the things for the tutorials you need in 2013. I know some of you want to know how I did the post-it notes and the chalkboard I used on my Top 5 Weekly Roundup posts.
These will be my blogging post topics this entire week. Naturally, it won’t take long to go through them all, so I will need you to tell me what else I can do for you.
If there is any other tutorial you thought of since I last asked the question, please place them into the comment section below so I can add them to my editorial list.
Your turn… how did your week go? Leave a comment below and let me know!
