I wanted to push this video out today so I could wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day and to bring you up to date on my health matters as promised.
I created a video to bring you the news, but if you don’t care for video there is text below.

Video Blogging Challenge & Health Update from Bonnie Gean
The Doctor Visit
I went to the doctor earlier this week. I was distraught about the findings, and as a result, I really thought it was best for me to calm down a little before I attempted to share my story with you.
I’m uncertain if you followed the discussions on Facebook, but the doctor originally wanted me to get tests for deep thrombosis of the legs.
Both of my legs get very dark in color; almost deep purple from the knees down to the ankles. The topical skin is very dry and the legs weep. It hurts to sit, stand, walk and sleep because of the constant pain.
Thankfully, my family doctor referred me to the radiologist for tests.
The Visit to the Radiologist
Wednesday, I went to the hospital for an ultrasound. I couldn’t take the pain any longer, and I was determined to get to the bottom of this problem.
I was relieved to find out there were no blood clots, but the side note turned out to be just as bad. I learned about Venus Reflux disease, and now I need to talk to a vascular surgeon about surgical remedies.
The Worrying Starts Here
After reading over the treatments for the disease, I’m starting to think the pain I have now is bearable compared to the pain I’m going to feel after the surgery.
Not being able to walk for six weeks isn’t going to be fun. Until I talk to the surgeon, I don’t know if they will do both legs at one time or make me go through this procedure twice – once for each leg with six recovery weeks after it’s all over.
Update on Podcast KickStart
I am continuing to work on Podcast KickStart. It’s not coming together as quickly as I wanted it to, thanks to my health concerns, but I am constantly adding something new.
I want to record all of module two in one day because I am determined to do whatever it takes to get it completed.
Learning about Webinars
I never offered any webinars. I am determined to offer some during 2014. It might be a good time to learn how to do some Google Hangouts to get my feet wet.
I think webinars would be very advantageous for me and for you, but I desperately need to rearrange the office in order to provide them. (You would need to see my office before you disagree.)
I started webinar training with Armand Morin. I will continue with that while I learn how to do a Google Hangout through Sue Worthington’s, The Power of Plus, (aff link) training.
Video Blogging Challenge
March is fast approaching, and I wanted to remind you that I am going to offer a video blogging challenge starting March 1, which will last for an entire 30 days.
If you already do video, you can still join in; but, if you didn’t get a chance to hop aboard Tiffany’s video blogging challenge from last year – you SHOULD join me for this challenge. 🙂
To prepare, get your task list cleaned up and make some time available to create a video every day! If you don’t have a video camera (aff link) or a webcam (aff link), you can acquire either one from Amazon.com, quite inexpensively!
The challenge will last for the entire month of March, which means you will produce a short 2 minute video every day. You will gain support from me and the other challengers while you get comfortable talking in front of a camera.
Will you join me for the video blogging challenge? Leave a comment below and let me know!
Thanks for reading,
