The Top 10 Projects I Need to Finish This Year

When the Facebook June Variety Article Writing Challenge required me to share my top 10 list, I wasn’t too sure I had enough to list out 10 projects, but lo-and-behold as I started typing the words did flow!

There are jobs that need finishing and since we are already into the sixth month of the year, allow me to contemplate what needs my attention.

With that said, here are the 10 projects I will address first:

1. PLR graphics for PLR Productions

When I released Infographics KickStart for Internet Marketers, I realized how high the demand is for social media graphics. Even prospects that did not buy the infographics signed up to receive a free package of 10-PLR social media images. I need to create additional packages to add to my PLR store.

2. Get Moving, Get Exercise

Being obese is the pits and it is high time I do something about it. I went on a healthy eating plan last spring and lost 54 pounds. Then I allowed myself to gain it all back by eating the wrong foods. Here we go again with a new attempt to get moving and get more exercise.

3. Make a List of New WSO Projects I Want to Launch

I admit it, since reading Tiffany’s’ How to Launch a WSO on JVZoo, and putting my first REAL product up for sale, I have been bitten by the bug. I need to sit down and rationalize my future steps. So many products to create and half a year is almost gone!

4. Gimp KickStart

This will be a training course showing you how easy it is to create marketing materials for your online business. I realize most people can’t always hire a freelancer, so providing quick tutorials on how to use Gimp are in order.

5. Article KickStart

You’ll be able to banish writer’s block with ease. I write the beginning and end of articles, then supply you with ideas on how to fill in the meaty (body section) of the content. You’ll walk away with a uniquely written piece – even if I do sell it as PLR.

6. Podcast KickStart

This is a revamp of a series offered during a 30-day blogging challenge. Readers liked it so much (and several used it to create a podcast of their own) that I decided to create an entire podcasting course and place it behind a membership site. Problems earlier in the year prevented me from finishing it so it still needs some attention.

7. Blanket – KickStart

As luck would have it, I had another solid IDEA came to me today that’s high in demand. Unfortunately, I have so many ideas needing completion before this one arrived, but I refused to let the idea go up in a puff of smoke. I secured a domain name today so I have it when I am ready to reveal this beauty!

Seriously, the name isn’t Blanket Kickstart – as I filled in the first portion of the domain name because I don’t want someone else to run with my idea before I have a chance to complete the syllabus for it.

8. Create a Traveling Wish List

With all these fantastic ideas for newly released products, I expect to enjoy the passive income! Once I reach a point when I can freely move (without health concerns) and my partner can take off for two weeks, we’re going to do a bit of traveling.

Before I depart from this earth, I want to visit France, Italy and the Bahamas – at least. I intend to travel before my ashes are scattered in the wind, but in all fairness, visiting other countries is contingent on a healthy outlook.

9. Clean the Office Closet

There is too much garbage hiding in this space. Articles I never finished or content I wrote, newsletter designed with Pagemaker, but never sold, etc. The partner is constantly mentioning these “tubs of trash” every so often and frankly, I’m tired of hearing his complaints – even if they are warranted. :)

10. Reduce My Medicinal Needs

This goes hand in hand with getting healthy, but even if I don’t shed as many pounds as I want to, the medicines need to go! I am so tired of swallowing 20+ pills each morning and it’s onward to better wellness! I should probably consider starting off with a detoxification. I need to do research.

This is just scratching the surface, but I’ll end this rant right here. These 10 projects are sure to take the rest of the year to complete – and like New Year resolutions, it’s never a good idea to bog yourself down with too many “to do” lists.

What do you intend to finish before the year is over? Leave a comment below and let me know!

Thanks for listening,
– Bonnie

  1. Alright Bonnie! Really focus on 2 and you’ll feel SO much better. I get in 1-2 hours of exercise daily, it really drives me to be an energetic, creative dynamo. All the best with your projects!

  2. Bonnie,

What a beauty of a list and you’re just the woman to tackle all of them. : D

    • ROFL – I have such wonderful friends who believe in me. Thank you Cynthia!

How did your WSO go doll?

      • Thanks for asking. It’s been slow, but sales are picking up since Tiff announced it. My list isn’t large and consists mostly of our blogging/video circles so not a lot of people to promote it to.

Nonetheless, I’m very happy about having my first WSO and look forward to more. I’m working on some products now that I’ll be releasing in the future and plugging away on content for the PLR store.

        • Have you been mentioning it on social networks? How about that PLR Mastermind group on FB? Did you remember to post it there?

Make a video showing what the pack offers… and get that into the Google+ community we have over there. :)

          • Hey BG,

I did mention it on the PLR mastermind. That group seems so quiet. LOL

I followed your suggestion and made a video, but I didn’t want to submit to the blogging community group because that’s not what you created it for, but I did post it to my page so all who follow me should see it.

Thanks for your suggestions! I appreciate it.

            • I would post it to the community group anyway. It’s a VIDEO! If you feel uneasy, just place an announcement under it saying “posted with Bonnie’s permission” and I will go in there and second the motion! :)

  3. You have a lot on your plate Bonnie. Isn’t it interesting how most of us have losing weight and getting healthy on our lists, no great surprise I’m sure.
I walk 5 miles/day when not raining which works out to about 25 miles/week but haven’t lost a pound. Frustrating! Thought about it as a niche site, but haven’t gone there yet.

    • I’m not surprised that most marketers have a list that includes getting healthier or losing weight. I know how much time I spend in this chair, so i can imagine you and others are like me. :)

Walking is great to keep or get in shape, but to lose weight while walking – you have to combine it with other things such as drinking more water and changing your dietary habits.

One of the habits that helps me is changing how many times I eat in a day. Instead of the normal 3-meals a day routine, I find that weight comes off faster if I eat 5 smaller meals during the day that are two hours apart.

This keeps the metabolism burning high all day long. Another thing is to make sure you’re drinking ICE COLD water instead of lukewarm.

  4. I love this idea, Bonnie!

It sort of makes you accountable since it’s on the printed page for the whole world to see…. May do a blog post similar… I skeered! LOL

Awesome content, and yet again, inspires me to better myself. You’re wonderful!!

  5. Hi Bonnie what an amazing lady you are.

I think one of the things I have to do this year is to produce a product so that my mentor John Thornhill will help to promote it. Of course he will only do this if the product is of high quality.
Trouble is – where do I start.

Pauline recently posted…Beware of the PopupMy Profile

    • Awe, thanks Pauline. You are amazing too – you must know that!

Didn’t John Thornhill teach you how to create a product? I mean… he’s your mentor. What’s he mentoring you on?

  6. Hi Bonnie

Lisa hit the nail on the head – multi-task or serial? Sadly my multi-task mode is enforced by the fact that I have so much work in my “offline business” that the online one takes a bit of a back seat.

Good luck with all your tasks – knowing you, you’ll plough through them all!

  8. What an interesting list! I would definitely be interested in the healthy group and also the podcasting, especially if it is later in the summer, or year. It really is something I want to do. So much to learn and so little time. Thankfully we have people like you to help us along.

  9. Great idea to put your long term to-do list in a blog post. Now that it’s out there and written down for all to see, you’ll more likely complete it faster.

  11. Hi Bonnie

Thanks for sharing your “Top 10” with us. I’m curious . . . will you focus on one project until completion, or concentrate on multiple projects at once? How do you decide which make the list – and which you postpone for later? I’m always intrigued by the various ways people prioritize.

    • The only way I finished Infographics KickStart for Internet Marketers was to concentrate SOLELY on that project until it was done. It took me a month. :)

I reckon I will do the same thing with the next one. Work on it until I launch and then a few days rest and onto the next one!

When I tried working on many at one time – NOTHING ever got finished, Lisa.

  12. Bonnie you are amazing, one of the most ambitious people I know :) Kudos to you and you are determined and you will accomplish that! I am also working on getting healthy and if you want an accountability partner I am here!

  13. Yay Bonnie! I love your list. And I am with you on #2. I’m tired of not being in my best shape. I turn 40 in 7 months and I have a goal to be under a certain special threashold number by then. So maybe we can kick eachother in the behind about it. Maybe a special bloggers weightloss group lol
