If you’re like me, you spend your time online divided between writing blog posts, engaging in conversations on social media websites and visiting other blogs to increase your knowledge.
As a loyal customer, friend and online associate – I make it a point to return to “hot spots” that fill my brain with reliable advice that prompts me to take action.
Such is the case with the following 10 blogs that I make a point to visit on a weekly basis. Perhaps you will find a diamond in the rough among this list, but I enjoy them all!
1. Tiffany Lambert’s Blog
Tiffany’s blog is a long-standing favorite of mine. It’s not only because she talks all-things marketing, but she makes it a point to share her personality through her writing. I feel like she is a person I could hang around with in real life and never get bored!
Her entire site is a favorite of mine so it would be impossible to share two posts that I like. Instead, I’ll impart extensions of her online business that I feel should be a part of your marketing arsenal:
- PLR Mini Mart (aff)
- How to Launch a WSO on JVZoo (aff)
2. Adventures in Online Marketing
This blog belongs to Amanda Thomas. She doesn’t post every day but when she does, I don’t waste time to go over and check out what she’s shared. I love her writing style; it makes me feel right at home. She writes as an experienced work-at-home entrepreneur while creating the life of her dreams.
I absolutely love these two posts:
- What Can Spiderman Teach Us about Online Marketing
- Take a Notebook with You or End Up Writing on Shoe Boxes Like Me
3. Ruth’s Content Shortcuts
Ruth’s website is one I’ve returned to more than once, but I haven’t spent as much time on her blog as I would like to; lack of time just doesn’t permit it. Ruth sells PLR so her site has some great tips to help you get the most usage from your PLR purchases.
Here are two posts you’ll really enjoy:
4. Paint Your Furniture
I love repainting furniture and having a partner in life that builds furniture fuels my passion! That’s why I love Misty Spears’ website – she offers a modern look at an old time favorite pastime of mine.
Her posts that I dubbed as favorites are:
5. Lynn Terry’s Clicknewz
Like Tiffany Lambert’s blog, Lynn’s blog has too many posts that I consider as favorites, which prevents me from sharing just two. With that said, if you want to learn more about affiliate marketing, Lynn is your gal. She offers two excellent products – one for the newbie and one for established entrepreneurs.
Here are the two products Lynn offers:
- Niche Success Blueprint (aff)
- Social Marketing Results (aff)
6. Love From Ana
Even though I am an online marketer, I am interested in information about relationships, marriage, dating, etc. This is why I go to Ana’s blog. She shares information that relates to love and relationships – two topics that help me be a better partner to my Ricky.
Her most recent posts are my favorites:
7. Jan Kearney’s My Local Business Online
Jan’s website is different compared to most blogs I frequent because she’s an authority on local business and I don’t have a physical storefront as her clients. Yet, I like to read Jan’s prose because I learn something new about local business marketing. You never can tell what the future holds – I may need to expand!
Aside from her accent, here are the top two posts I like most:
8. Marilyn Thompson Solutions
Marilyn would make a great Kindle author because she has that keen sense of how to write emotional posts. She makes you think, which ultimately gets you to take action! Additionally, she offers a superb newsletter, Dreams on Target, which I highly recommend.
Likewise, her blog is far too interesting to break it down into two favorite posts so I would suggest you visit her blog when you have a moment to spare because you’ll love her personality and the tidbits she shares!
9. Marlon’s Marketing In a Minute
While I don’t visit Marlon’s blog as often as the rest I mentioned, his blog is a great place to learn about Internet marketing and thinking outside the box. He has such passion for marketing, which comes through in everything he writes or records on video.
I have never had the pleasure of going to one of his seminars, mainly because I am a hermit at heart, but if I had to choose one person I would pay to see on stage, it would be Marlon. Again, check out his entire website because there’s too much good information to reduce it down to two favorites.
10. Reclaiming My Health
Okay, so this blog belongs to me and it’s new but it is definitely one of my favorites because I built it based on a long-term goal of losing more than 100 pounds within the next year. It only has two posts, but you will be able to get a feel for what the blog is about simply by reading both entries.
There are more blogs I like to visit and read but since the Article Writing Challenge requires me to write a top 10 list, these are the first 10 I wanted to mention and share with you. There’s another week left to the challenge so you may just find your blog listed here next week! 🙂
Is there a blog that you like to visit the most? Leave a comment below and let me know!
Thanks for reading,
– Bonnie
P.S. Did you enjoy this message? If so, please share it with your friends so they can benefit from schmoozing. Then, if you want to get more messages like this one, connect with me via my social links below or hop aboard my notification list. I would like to keep in touch.
That’s a neat list of blogs to follow. I know some of them, while some others are new to me.
But reading your summaries and seeing your recommended posts I can say they are definitely worth to check.
Thanks for sharing,
Torsten
Have you had a chance to check any of the blogs yet, Torsten? Which ones did you bookmark? I would love to know! 🙂
I’m there! Thanks – honoured and humbled (and now feeling incredibly guilty I’m behind with my reading!)
I love popping in here too, on my list of favs. I always learn something new. It’s like sticking on a comfy pair of slippers and sitting having a chat by the fire with a friend 🙂
You must here compliments all the time about your content. I love it so I know others feel the same way too!
When your comfy slippers travel – make sure they make it over here to my neck of the woods. I don’t have a fireplace, but we can slap a wood stove in here just for your visit! LOL
I hardly know any of these blogs, I like Tiffany’s and Amanda’s also as well as yours of course 🙂 A few more I can add to me bookmarks
That’s a real shame that you don’t know many of the blogs listed. You’re missing out on communicating with some great people and the valuable information they share! Do try to make it to their blogs when you can.
Hi Bonnie, Too many to mention!! And if I mention any I’ll be up all night popping in again to add someone I forgot. Of course I’ve learned a huge amount from you and Jan, and will pop over to some of the others you mentioned as so many other people seem to think they’re useful too. Thanks for a useful list to explore. Joy
You’re welcome Joy! I’m sure you’ll add these blogs to your favorite list too! 🙂
Well you’re one of mine too – so there!
ROFL, had to take a peek eh? Now why do I get the feeling that you’re over there sticking your tongue out giving me a raspberry? haha
I’m so glad that my blog is one of your favorites too. I realize you’re busy and don’t have time to come visit much, but when you do — it lights up my face and makes my day girl!
Fabulous list Bonnie I visit all except Marlon’s so I’ll need to scoot on over there. Thanks too for the terrific mention of my blog and newsletter I never really thought that I wrote emotional posts but I guess you’re right, I do tend to. So thrilled that my words can help people to take action, yours do the same.
I love Marlon! Do make it a point to watch his videos. ROFL — he’s so excited about what he does he shows it on his videos. Such a delight to watch!
I LOVE your newsletter and you do a wonderful job. Pat yourself on the back Marilyn!
It’s funny but all of these are on my bookmark list! Such an awesome network we’ve made in the last several months and I can’t imagine being where I am without all of those people you have listed. I don’t know how you narrowed it down to just 10…I’d be crawling up the walls to do that. Thanks for including me in it too!
Well, I did say that there was more than 10 and that I had another week to include another top 10 list. 🙂 hehe
You are so welcome, Misty! I’ve learned so much from you about painting furniture. I hope you stick with this website as I think it’s very educational.
I am honored to be included in your list Bonnie 🙂 Thank you so much. The others are great blogs too. Great top ten!
Thanks Ana… and thank you for publishing such great content on your blog!
An excellent idea to give some publicity to your favorite blogs – something I think we bloggers don’t do often enough. There are several blogs I read often – one of them is written by a woman in Nebraska, which has a name you will never forget – vomiting chicken. I am checking out your link on How Much Change Is Necessary to Get Healthy now.
I remember vomiting chicken from the Ultimate Blog Challenge! I misplaced her URL, but I did like what she wrote on her blog. Very educational and entertaining content!
I also love your blog, Alana. You have quite an array of topics, but since I only had 10 spots, I cannot list all the blogs I favor in one sitting. 🙂
You have a great knack for writing girl, keep it up!
I tried to post the URL for vomitingchicken in my first response, but I kept getting error messages saying I had too many URL’s in the comments. Thank you for your praise – smiling broadly.
I’ve been meaning to change that (to allow people to include a URL inside the blog post), but I never seem to get into the WordPress dashboard to make the necessary update!
I don’t give out praise very lightly, girlfriend so if I say that you have a blog worth reading – you really do! 🙂
I think you should write for Kindle. Have you ever thought about putting out a Kindle book?
Excellent choices. I have visited and commented on all of these blogs except the one by Marlon.
Will have to hope over and check that out 🙂
Thanks Victoria. There’s plenty more but since this was a top 10 post, I couldn’t fit them all. 🙂
