You're Invited to the Article Writing Challenge
Plenty of time has passed since I held the Video Blogging Challenge and now it is time for another fun-filled month of article writing! We have been discussing what to do on our Facebook group and we’ve decided that the following topics were acceptable to the group.
You are not required to follow this daily program as shown below. I realize some of you may have a blog schedule already planned out and that’s great, but if you need some extra ideas for what to post during the month of June – perhaps the following ideas can help you.

Monday: Product Review

Choose to review an affiliate product that you really like or have bought and implemented. Write an unbiased viewpoint because we both know there is no “perfect product” on the market. Likewise, blog readers are more apt to believe the review if you revealed both the pros and cons.

Tuesday: Top 10 List

It is exactly what it sounds like. Write a Top 10 list that encourages fans and followers to place a comment on your blog. The sky is the limit on your chosen topic. Some ideas to consider are:

  • The Top 10 Products I Bought and Implemented During 2014
  • The Top 10 Affiliate Marketers I Admire and Why
  • The Top 10 Things I Want to Change Before 2014 Ends
  • The Top 10 Reasons I Like Affiliate Marketing
  • The Top 10 Benefits of Being an Online Entrepreneur

-OR-

  • The Top 10 Reasons I Stayed Single
  • The Top 10 Reasons Why I Love My Spouse
  • The Top 10 Candies I Love the Most
  • The Top 10 Things I Dislike About Cats
  • The Top 10 Bloopers I Made This Year

Wednesday: Guest Blog Post

Obviously this one requires advanced planning. If you intend to write a guest blog post, you might want to ask someone within the Article Writing Challenge if you can write for their blog and establish what day you will submit it to them.
Discuss what type of blog post they hope to receive from you, and what you are comfortable in writing. Do not wait until the last minute as the blog owner expects you to come through with the content. Knowing that the post is due on a Wednesday, please do not wait until the night before to start writing!

Thursday: Post an Infographic

Find an infographic that relates to your niche and share it on your blog. Accompany the infographic with a short description on what it entails and why you choose to share it. If the infographic is not your property, please be sure to get clearance from the owner before you share it on your blog.
If you are creating an infographic, be sure to give yourself ample time to perform adequate research, present the layout in a logical fashion and finish it in time to place it on your blog. Add embed code under your graphic and provide others with permission to share it.

Friday: Three Things I Completed Today

This one has so many possibilities! Don’t feel as if you need to limit your topic to Internet marketing. This can be anything from finishing your housecleaning, laundry and exercise program to social media marketing, blog revamps or product creation.
There is a multitude of blogs online and not everybody serves the same audience so do not feel boxed in on this topic. If you are a work at home mom, with children underfoot, and you still managed to get three things completed – toot your horn! 🙂
If you managed to talk on the phone while cooking dinner and grabbing the youngster out of the garbage can – I’m all for reading it! ROFL

Saturday: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

Depending on what you need to share, this tutorial has no limitations. It can be any length as long as it takes a person from A to B and it helps him/her accomplish a specific task. If you want to separate it into two posts – feel free to do it. Use your imagination here!
Video Maker FX

Sunday: Video Blog

Your video blog does not have an “on screen” requirement! If you’re shy, feel free to create a screen captured video and post that to your blog. If you don’t have any screen capture software, consider using a video created by another Article Writing Challenger.
Why not just grab a copy of VideoMakerFX and create an animated whiteboard video? If you have any products that need extra exposure, create a sales video and allow the rest of the challengers to review it and share their opinions.
Video sales letters are HOT commodities these days and if you don’t own PowerPoint or even if you do, but you aren’t sure how to use the animation sequences, VideoMakerFX can help in that department.

Join the Challenge

The challenge starts tomorrow, June 1, 2014 so join us on Facebook. I would love to support you in your article writing efforts, and I am certain you will enjoy the people you meet there too!
Will you give it a go and join us for this article writing challenge? Leave a comment below and let me know!

Ooh, this sounds like fun! I’m definitely going to participate. I’ve been trying to film a video but my software keeps messing up tonight. I did manage one new post today (even if it’s not in that darn video format ;)).

I was trying to do a screencast video using Screenr (it’s free screen capture software). I finally got it working for me today after much gnashing of teeth yesterday. 😉

Wonderful, Ana! I love reading your posts — have I told you that? I don’t always like to comment (it reveals too much about me), but I still do it anyway! LOL

Excellent idea for a challenge. I might not be able to get an article done each day but I will definitely do as much as I can.
    Great ideas to choose from.
