How to Use PicMonkey.com for Your Social Media Quotes

In front of you, on the video screen, you’ll see I just released two new social media quote packages. One is ripple quotes and the other one is heart flaps quotes.
Someone sent me an email and asked me if she needed a specific program in order to change the quotes inside the packages. The answer is no.
As long as you have access to a graphic program such as, Gimp, Photoshop, MS Paint, Microsoft PowerPoint or even online programs such as PicMonkey.com or Pixlr.com, you can easily change the quote message to whatever you want.
Let me show you how to do that today with PicMonkey.com, and later on we’ll make more videos in order to show you how versatile these packages really are.

Watch the Video:

How to Use PicMonkey.com for Your Social Media Quotes from Bonnie Gean

Instructions

  • Step 1: Go to PicMonkey.com and look for the “Edit a Photo” tab and double click it.

This will open a box on our computer and allow us to double click on any one of the blanks (quote boxes) that came with the package. Choose the blank box you want and double click on it and it will open up inside of PicMonkey.

  • Step 2: Next, double click on the text icon under the “Basic Edits” toolbar, which gives you various styles of text to use for your quote.

Pick the text style you want and click the “Add Text” button to add a text box inside your quote image. Pull (or drag) the text palate next to your quote box so you have that to work with as well.
Now you’re ready to double click inside the text box and type out the quote you want to share. Once you’re done typing the quote, click anywhere outside of your quote image.
This releases the cursor from the text box and allows you to move the text anywhere inside the quote image. If you pull along the corner edge of the text box, you can make the text larger or smaller by dragging your mouse.

  • Step 3: Use the “Basic Edits” toolbox to add a second text box to your quote image, so you can brand the quote box with your website address.

If you use the text toolbar, you can left align, center or right align the text to your liking. Position the text where you want it.
Once you added the second text box (and your website URL), change the color of the website address so it stands apart from your quote message and makes it easier for people to spot.

How to Save the Quote Box to Your Computer

There is a menu at the top of the screen, which allows you to share or save your image file. For the sake of the video, I chose to save the image to my computer.

  • Click the “Save Button” and choose a name for your image; type it into the text box. Choose JPG as the file type, even though the original quote box was a PNG.
  • Choose “Roger” as the file size quality to keep the file size smaller and then click the “Save to my computer” button to open a box on your computer. Choose where you want to save the image on your computer and then click the “Save” button.

This is a perfect size for Pinterest, but you can also use them on your website too. Even though this package arrives with relationship quotes
You can change the quote images to whatever you want them to say. Even though it’s a relationship PLR package, it does not matter.
If you like the quotes and how they look, there are 20 blanks for Pinterest and 20 more for Facebook. You can put any quote you want inside them!

Save $2 When You Order

If you order any of the two quote packages listed below, you can apply the 2DISCOUNT coupon and the shopping cart will give you $2 off your total – but don’t wait because the discount is only good for the next couple of days and then it expires!

  • 40 Flap Quotes Relationships PLR
  • 40 Ripple Quote Boxes with Relationship PLR

Do you currently use social media quotes to brand your business? Leave a comment below and let me know!

Sure Sue. Go to PicMonkey.com and click “Create a Collage”
On the left hand side of the screen, choose the “Layouts” button.
Scroll down a little more than halfway and click “FB Cover” and then choose the cover layout you want. 🙂

I use PicMonkey all the time, but never knew about the Facebook cover feature. Thanks for sharing that.
I enjoyed your video too, Bonnie, and picked up a couple of things from it that I hadn’t noticed when using PicMonkey before.

I wouldn’t use the Facebook feature because I make all of my own covers and you have to be careful about how much text is included – even on a picture. Other than that, it’s a great feature if you don’t want to fool around with Gimp or Photoshop.

    I use both pixlr.com and picmonkey.com
I especially like picmonkey.com’s template for FB cover pages. Use it a lot to create collages I post on my Fan Page.
    Happy new year my friend.
    Thanks.

Other than creating the video to show you how to use PicMonkey.com for my quote backgrounds – I didn’t get a chance to view what else they offer. FB cover pages? That’s amazing! I need to go back there now and see if I can find them. 🙂
Happy New Year, Debra! May this year bring us what we desire most. 🙂

When you go to Picmonkey, click on the “create a collage” option. One of the layout options it gives you is for a FB timeline cover. Add your photos, and you’re set.
        🙂
