During the week of December 15 through 21, 2013 – my Article Writing Challenge group on Facebook will participate in the “How To Series” and you’re invited to join us!
What Does the Challenge Require?
The challenge will run across a full week, so this means you will need a total of seven articles on the same topic that start with the words “how to” or split the week up into two separate series; this is fine too.
You could write a series across the first three days on one topic, followed by a different topic for the last four days. Whatever is easiest for you, go for it!
This is a perfect opportunity to get some ongoing support for your online writing efforts and helps fill your blog with an entire week’s worth of posts.
You need content, so why not join us for the challenge and gain the accountability you need to get the writing completed?
How to Pick Your Series
Are you uncertain what to write? Visit Ubersuggest.org or Soovle.com and place the term “how to” with your keyword to see what individuals are searching for online.
For example, if you write on the topic of blogging, you could insert the keyword phrase “how to blog about” to get started. Soovle.com provided the following results for me when I typed the phrase into their search tool:
- How to blog about sports
- How to blog about products
- How to blog about music
- How to blog about an event
- How to blog about weight
During a second search using the keyword phrase “how to use social media” as my starting point, I received the following promising results:
- How to use social media for recruiting
- How to use social media for marketing
- How to use social media to grow your business
- How to use social media to support e-commerce
- How to use social media and public relations
Again, these are all great topics to use as a series for your blog. Just think, once you are done with the entire series, you can bundle it together as an incentive for subscribers to join your list.
If you are feeling ambitious, compile the writing into a document to share on other websites as a download. Fill the book with some affiliate links and create backend sales from your writing efforts.
Build an Information Empire
Continue along this line of thinking and start pumping out content on a monthly basis and you will build an information empire that makes you money like clockwork. And that, my friend, is never a bad idea!
What kind of series will you write? Leave a comment below and let me know!
