How to Find the URL for a Fan Page Post from Bonnie Gean
How to Find the URL
First, you’ll want to log in to your Facebook account and go directly to your Fan Page; locate the post you want to share. Directly next to your picture is the name of the Fan Page; underneath it, is a time stamp noting when the post was created.
Click on the time stamp, which will open the entire post in a new window. Scroll to the top of your browser window to locate the URL for this post.
Right click on the URL with your mouse and choose “Copy” from the pop-up window. The URL is now saved to your clipboard and can be pasted anywhere you want to promote it.
How to Paste the URL
If you’re a part of the EdgeRank Party, held by Sue Worthington, you can now share the URL inside the comment box to direct people back to your Fan Page post to leave a comment.
Go to the Fan Page Challenge group and locate the EdgeRank Party post at the top of the page. Scroll to the end of the comments and add yours. Start by tagging your Fan Page with the @ symbol followed by the name of your Fan Page.
For example, my Fan Page name is Bonnie Gean Fans, so I would insert @BonnieGeanFans. This will prompt Facebook to search the database for your Fan Page name and reveal it. Once it does, click on your Fan Page name to highlight it and turn it into a clickable link.
Click the Shift key on the keyboard, followed by tapping the Enter key, which will produce a line break. Place your mouse on the line and click the right mouse button; choose “Paste” from the drop down menu and hit the Enter key once more to share your post.
