Let me explain…
Today started like any other day where I brush my teeth and hair before switching on the computer. After the hum of the machine woke me out of my sleeping stupor, I checked my email and was immediately greeted with the following message:
It’s my pleasure to let you know that you and your blog are featured this week on ComLuv. Here’s the link to the post http://comluv.com/bonnie-gean-community-enthusiast-featured-blogger/
We started doing this series 4 weeks ago and now it’s your turn. I hope you like the post and it sends you some new readers.
Have a wonderful day!
Seriously, who needs a coffee wake-me-up when you get a message like that? Needless to say, you can probably tell that I had an extra hop in my step as I headed down the stairs to brew me a cup of coffee (hey, a girl still needs her juice!) LOL
How Did I Get Featured?
Basically, it boils down to the fact that I was willing to share my opinion in the form of a CommentLuv Review and it was noticed by Andy Bailey, owner and creator of the popular WordPress plugin.
Andy hinted that I was worthy of a Featured Spot on the ComLuv.com website. I joked around asking how much “pull he had” over there. It was equally heart-warming to get a second reply. 🙂
Two days after Andy’s visit, Ilene (his Ambassador for ComLuv) made an appearance to notify me she shared the review on the ComLuv Facebook Fan Page and added my blog to the CommentLuv Blogs on Pinterest.
Would you like to become a featured blogger on CommentLuv? Here’s a short video from Andy Bailey to explain what it takes to get a featured blogger spot and what happens after you do. 🙂

It’s Important to Mention
I don’t want you to rush out and do a review on CommentLuv or any other product or service with the intention of getting featured. That certainly wasn’t my intention and I hope you don’t make it yours.
Everything I do on the blog is a reflection of an individual asking for guidance.
That’s why it’s so important for us to serve others as often as we can. What might seem trivial to you could be the missing puzzle piece needed by others.
Always approach your business with the question “how can I best serve” my audience and you’ll never go wrong. You must be the beacon of hope, enlightenment, and service to others.
I believe we’re all here for a specific reason. Find out what that reason is for you and make the most of it. You’ll find it’s easier to build a community of loyal fans once you share the knowledge that others desperately need.
Naturally, others sit up and take notice, too. That’s how I became a featured blogger on ComLuv. I wish you the same good fortune in all your online endeavors!
If you have time, please visit the ComLuv.com website and post a comment on my behalf. This will help me, but it will also get your name in front of Andy and Ilene, too!
Your turn! Have you been featured on someone’s blog? Leave a comment below and let me know!
