I can admit that there were times when I was hard-pressed for a stretch and the blog suffered, but I did manage to scribble down a few goodies. 🙂
I’d like to point them out to you so you can see I wasn’t a total slacker and I have my moments. Good information does escape this noggin and find a place on the page.
Here are the last 5 goodies captured during your absence:
- What a Song Taught Me about Product Creation
- Are You Stealing Images from Google?
- How to Guarantee a Higher Attendance for Your Webinars
- Is Fear the Culprit of Your Stagnant Dreams?
- What Is a Favicon and Why Do You Need One?
I would like to ask that you pick one to read; afterwards, return to this page to leave me a comment. Each bullet point will open a new page so you need not worry that you’ll lose your place on this post.
State which goodie post you picked and what you liked about it!
Thanks for reading,
– Bonnie

I read the flavicon post. Great tips for how to make make one. I need to put this on my to do list:) Thanks!
Favicons are wonderful reminders for people with bookmark lists to come back often. I love the idea that you’re going to get one in place Toni!
Hi, Bonnie…I read about favicons, and though I do use them sometimes on my old blogs on Blogger, I haven’t attempted making one for my self-hosted sites.
I always made my favicons in Paint Shop Pro, and it was a pain in the neck, so thank you for listing the favicon generators. That will save some time.
Speaking of time, I don’t have any to spare at the moment–trying to get my PLR stuff off the ground, so my favicon-making will have to go lower on the to-do list.
Enjoy your day!
It takes a split second to use the Favicon generator Becky and so worth the time when you consider it helps users locate your saved pages from zillions of others in their bookmarked lists.
There is so much talk right now about what’s right and wrong with copyright. I’m sure that we have all been guilty at one point in time. We need to research this even more so we don’t mess up (whether on purpose or accidentally.)
There needs to be quite a bit more of talk so the gist of it sinks in! Just yesterday I was over on YouTube doing research. I happened upon a video that taught people it was okay to swipe an article from EzineArticles.com, copy and paste it into a new document and rewrite each paragraph.
No matter how you slice it, it’s definitely plagiarism. When I approached the gentleman on YouTube with a comment regarding such, he told I was talking rubbish.
It’s people LIKE THAT who are teaching newcomers “bad form” and thus the cycle continues.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Tracie! Good luck with the UBC!
Such great information here! I loved your suggestions for webinars and displaying time differences! That has been an issue in the past. Thanks!
That’s one thing that irks me about webinar postings – the lack of different time frames. CATER to your audience and you may find many more showing up to take a seat at your next webinar. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Loretta. Good luck with the UBC! 🙂
Bonnie,
I read about “new twist” product creation, as I am agonizing over the technical side of putting out a new product. What really stood out to me was not the article I read, but how you linked back to older articles from this one! I have so much great content that newer readers may not have seen. I am going to follow suit on this! Thanks!
Be all means, Shelley…. copy the idea to revert back to old posts! May I suggest you do it every month or so?
Call it a Goodie Roundup or something along that line of thinking! You have new people floating into your blog all the time and I would venture to say they would LOVE it if you picked out the cherries and served them up to feast on!
Monthly! Another good idea!
Another light bulb moment, another gal served. 🙂 Glad you like the monthly idea – (that’s one less strenuous post for you to pen each month!)
Now YOU gave me an idea!
I’ll need to compile more goodie ideas on how to effortlessly provide solid content to new blog users with content you’ve shared in the past. (Writing this down.) Thanks!
Oh my dear Bonnie, there is more than just a little good stuff that escapes that noggin of yours! Seriously great stuff you provide, so don’t sell yourself short, ‘k?
Bet you can guess which post I read, eh?
“It don’t care how many other products are out there on the market, people like my eBook because I’m going to make mine different so it won’t matter!”
This one has held me back for years (including before I ever joined the Internet Marketing stuff). I had the story going that “it had already been done” even tho’ many a person, including German university students, said they loved the way I taught and how I made the “boring” fun and wanted more. Did I listen?
Bet you can guess the answer to that one. So now I am and appreciate the reminder.
Muah and remember to Laugh Lots, Love More!

But I am short! I only stand 5 foot 4 inches… and sometimes shorter depending on the arthritis. 🙂
Ah, you read “What a song taught me about product creation, eh?” That was pure golden, wasn’t it? I had fun writing it, too!
Trust me. There was a time when I felt the same way. Hence, why I pay on a domain for 8 years that still sits idle for an Article Writing Workshop because of FEAR that I didn’t have anything “new” to contribute on the topic.
This notion coming after I had just collaborated with Michael Port to pen the “Writing Strategy” in this Book Yourself Solid Book.
How SILLY was that? 🙂
Yup, you guessed it right…and I hear ya…how silly WAS that anyway. Geez Louise!
ROFL… I wrote a post the other day about it too and shared the URL. You have no idea how I was sweating just to share the website address! LOL
BTW: it’s at http://www.articlewritingworkshop.com
This is the domain in question.
Actually I DO know how much you were sweating (well, I can guess ‘cuz that’s where I am too!). BIG BIG congrats. Ever so proud of you!
Building one milestone at a time over here, eh? LOL
Thanks MRK, that means tons to me!
Oh, by the way…what did you use to create your landing page? You know me, always love knowing this stuff!
I used http://www.bonniegean.com/optimize-press
I absolutely love that program! (That’s an affiliate link btw.)
Ah, OP…yup, it is a kewl tool. I’ve got it, SalesPressPro and 10 Minute Pages. All have pros and cons (and I’m looking forward to seeing what OP has done with their new version mid-July or so). I do like that they’re going to have a plugin version and not just the theme!
Wow, I didn’t know they were coming out with a plugin. Will existing OP owners get the plugin free or do we have to pay for it?
I never thought of you as a slacker that is for sure. I don’t know how some of you get so much done! I always seem to learn from your blog.
Awe, thanks Shawn! It just goes to show ya… that no matter HOW much you get done, you never really think it’s enough. hehe
Thanks for boosting my ego. I appreciate your input, visits, and kindness. Hugs!
Hi Bonnie,
Good points on the Google images and the Favicon. Your article was a good reminder that I still haven’t set up my Favicon for my new blog yet. Going to do it right now 🙂
Thanks for the great info in your posts
Hopefully the favicon is in place and you’re all set! Glad to be of help. How’s the baby girl today?
Yes got it done straight after reading your article. Thanks. She’s great, asleep here beside me as I’m working 🙂
Paul, you must DO VIDEO with her in them! Can you imagine how many NEW lady followers you would acquire for your brand if you shower gals with videos of your sleeping beauty!?
Daddy’s Little Girl Marketing Moment… I can see it now. 🙂
