Day 5 – Video Blogging Challenge

Today is the fifth day into the video blogging challenge, and you have earned two days of rest from creating any videos.

I talk about what I’m currently working on in today’s video. You can either watch or read the text below.

Your Progress

Depending on when you started the challenge, by now you have made one or several videos to share with an audience. If you managed to create your five videos for the week, I applaud you. That’s quite an accomplishment!

We will meet up again on Monday, September 15 and go forward with the challenge!

Product Plans

Currently, I am creating 3D graphic covers and infographics for several clients. One of them is interested in sharing infographics and social images that are created in PowerPoint since many of her customers do not own a copy of Photoshop.

I took a serious look at using PowerPoint for more than just presentation slides. I did as my client requested and produced two infographics for her using PowerPoint. The results were amazing!

I was pleased with the outcome, so I decided to fill next Infographics KickStart package with PowerPoint templates and infographics. I think it’s a great idea – especially for the folks who do not own Photoshop.

Infographic PowerPoint Package

As a result of enjoying the process of learning how to use PowerPoint to make infographics, I decided my next WSO will offer an Infographic PowerPoint package.

I’ve already started working on the package and six templates completed. I decided to offer templates so you could add the information you wanted and not be forced to use my research material.

In the same token, I also want to add some ready-to-go infographics to the mix to help save you time. You just open the PowerPoint file, add your name and URL and export the file. You can easily brand the infographics with whatever information you see fit.

There will be other goodies I include inside the package, but I better not reveal it all because you just never know who is listening. :)

Before I end this blog post, I need your opinion. Use the comment box below to tell me if there are any infographics you want me to include in this next package.

I have people asking for health, wealth and relationship; but, if there is another topic you want, please share your idea with me in the comment section!

Thanks for reading,

– Bonnie

  1. Love doing graphics. It’s real creative time isn’t it? Congrats on getting to day 5. Cheers, Bonnie.

    • I used to do more graphics when I first came online, but I hadn’t thought about doing them as a monthly offering, until recently.

When I first came online, I offered ghostwriting and elected to put the graphics creation on hold for a spell. However, when someone approached me about doing her 3D covers, I couldn’t say no to her.

Well… as they say, the rest is history. Once someone else learned I was doing the 3D covers for one girl, they approached me too. LOL

Are you offering anything specific to your tribe, Mel? Or are you just throwing your entire being into affiliate marketing?

  2. Isn’t it cool how an idea from someone else can propel us forward in our business? Very cool. :)

    • Yes, it is!

Ironically, I was asked about two years ago if I could create a training site to teach people how to make infographics with PowerPoint. I started making templates back then, but my lack of self-confidence got in the way of finishing the training.

Well… we shall see if that remains a problem after I sell this package. :)

  3. You are oh so productive Bonnie. Are you spending more time on indivudual customer orders or is it a balance with your PLR infographic stuff?

    • I would have to say that since July, I’ve spent way more time on individual customer orders versus my PLR infographic stuff.

Creating for the PLR store requires outsourcing (I can see that now), but I have been unable to find someone to help with the type of PLR production I need. Unfortunately, this means I don’t produce as much PLR material for the store that I used to.

I’m still trying to find a happy medium there. Until I do, individual orders are putting bank in my pocket, so I can’t complain. :)

  4. Hi Bonnie,
Great video and blog post. It takes some courage to get on video and I know that a lot of people avoid it because it makes them feel uncomfortable being in front of the camera. I used to feel that way myself until I did a video challenge a few years ago ‘vloggin’ every day for 30 days and was amazed at how confident I became in front of the camera at the end of it.
I look forward to seeing more of your videos, you seem to be a natural :)
    Best wishes,
    Steve

    • Oh dear, trust me – when I first started doing videos… I shook like a leaf! You could hear the quivering in my voice too! I knew it was there, so I am certain other people heard it too.

Nowadays, not so much. I’m okay sitting in front of the camera.

Others have said the same thing as you (that I seem to be a natural). I think it’s because, in the offline world, I LOVE to talk! LOL

      Thanks for stopping by Steve!

  5. Hi Bonnie

I lost track of you for a few weeks! My fault – it’s just been manic round my life.

Your blog has had a “re-decoration”, if I’m not mistaken? Like it :-)

Will look forward to seeing your new approach to infographics. I’m firmly in the blogging / Internet Marketing marketplace now. Although my health blogs still exist the chaos that hit me just before my holidays has persuaded me to abandon them. It was all getting too much!

    Have a great week, Joy

    • I do miss people when they don’t come around, but I also know what time constraints we place on ourselves as an Internet marketer. I am grateful that you find your way back here now and again. :)

I love making infographics with PowerPoint, and willing to bet that others aren’t aware just how versatile PPT is for making them. I should really create a course on it, shouldn’t I? :)

  6. Hi Bonnie, first time visit here. Must say you have put in great deal of efforts and very impressive :) As for the infographics, what about something on Children Arts? :)

  7. Hi Bonnie,

Looks like your graphic productions have taken off! That’s great. Can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with. The ones I’ve seen so far are amazing. See you next week.
