Welcome back to day number 2 of the video blogging challenge! I surely had my share of hiccups today, which I talk about in today’s video.
I also included text in case you would rather read about the day’s events.

Day 2 – Video Blogging Challenge from Bonnie Gean
A Problem with Video Rendering
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the video from day 1 of the challenge uploaded to the blog in time for the start of the challenge. As luck would have it, my computer died in August, and I had to purchase a new one.
Naturally, I added my graphics programs to the new computer first so my work schedule could stay on track for customers; however, I forgot to install Camtasia and Smart Converter Pro for video converting and editing.
Of course, this meant that I couldn’t render the challenge video for day 1. After installing Camtasia, I tried to import an old video to grab my intro and outros compilations, but Camtasia told me it couldn’t open the files.
After downloading a Camtasia upgrade, I rendered the challenge video. The only thing left to do was upload it to YouTube and my blog.
Well, guess what?
No Internet Access
Apparently, one problem per day isn’t enough – I now found out that my Internet connection wasn’t working, which meant I had to call the cable company to find out why.
Of all the luck… my Internet access is unavailable for four hours. By now I am agitated beyond belief! I cannot be a leader without access to the Internet.
No sense in crying over spilled milk. It’s time to make the best of a bad situation. Hopefully, your day went much better than mine did.
The lesson in my story is that unexpected roadblocks will crop up now and then; but, it’s how you handle them that count. Stop and take deep breaths to prevent stress.
So…tell me – what do you intend to do for your next two videos for the challenge? Leave a comment below and let me know!
