It’s day number one of the 90 Day Residual Money Product Creation Challenge being hosted by Tiffany Dow and cohosted by yours truly.
I created a video for today, but if you’re not comfortable watching video there’s text down below, too!

90-Day Product Creation Challenge, Day 1 from Bonnie Gean
Let’s Get Started!
If you haven’t had an opportunity to visit Tiffany’s blog, I would like to suggest you do. Her community is gathering there to provide ongoing support to one another for the next three months!
I am looking forward to working with YOU over the next 90 days! This challenge is going to help position you as a “product creator” and brand you as an expert within a certain niche.
I would like to encourage you to return to this website as often as you need to for guidance and support, too. Feel free to share your concerns and ask questions!
If you’re not comfortable with sharing your worries openly in the comment section, feel free to contact me privately using my contact form.
If you’re not sure what type of product you want to create, I’d like to suggest that you do a brain dump. This basically means you’ll sit down with a piece of paper, pen, egg timer and some quiet time so you can purge your brain.
If you’re more comfortable using your keyboard that’s fine. Whatever works for you! You want to get your thoughts down on paper so you can review them. Being able to see a list of the things in black and white can help spawn innovative ideas.
It doesn’t matter how much or how little knowledge you possess on a particular topic; as long as you are interested in a topic, it’s feasible to include it on your list.
Why use an egg timer? I believe it keeps the exercise on track. I don’t want you to do this exercise all day long. Set the timer for 60 seconds and write until the timer dings to stop!
During the brain dump you’ll answer one question, “What do I know how to do?” As an example, my brain dump paper might look like this:
1. Commercial printing
2. Graphic design
3. Raising a puppy
4. Small business accounting
5. Camping with a tent
6. Camping with an RV
8. Motorcycle riding/gear
9. Article writing
10. Affiliate marketing
12. Designing infographics
13. Facebook marketing
14. Social networking
15. Creating videos
16. Organizing cupboards
18. Polycythemia vera
19. Print newsletters
20. Postcard marketing
That’s quite a versatile list, don’t you think? Just sitting here and looking at it gives me a ton of ideas I could pursue. I’m sure the same can be said for your list, too!
It boils down to this. What could you produce a product around based on the knowledge you shared on a piece of paper? Tomorrow we’ll dive into this question a little deeper. For now, I want you to do your brain dump and see what you come up with!
Your turn! Do you have an idea of what type of product you’re going to create or will you be doing a brain dump? Leave a comment below and let me know!
